Acquisition Positions eCamps for Continued Growth Across Youth Sports Camps, Events, and Experiences
FAIRFIELD, Conn., Nov. 5, 2026 — eCamps Sports Network today announced the completion of its acquisition from PlayMetrics by an investor group led by longtime Chief Executive Officer Charley Biggs.
eCamps Sports Network was previously part of the Stack Sports portfolio prior to its combination with PlayMetrics in 2025. The sale is the result of PlayMetrics' broader review of the entire portfolio, conducted to determine which businesses support its focus on its core youth sports operations platform.
The transaction marks the next chapter for one of the nation's leading youth sports camp and event operators, with the investor group expected to accelerate strategic growth initiatives across flag, football, volleyball, lacrosse, field hockey, soccer, softball, tennis, and other youth sports verticals.
Founded more than two decades ago, eCamps Sports Network has hosted over 250,000 athletes through a nationwide portfolio of camps, showcases, clubs, and leadership programs. The organization operates and partners with many of the most recognized brands in youth sports instruction and athlete development.
Charley Biggs will continue to serve as CEO following the acquisition and will lead the company's next phase of expansion.
